In light of the new security protocols imposed on macOS 10.14 and higher operating systems, including but not limited to macOS 10.15, macOS 11, macOS 12, macOS 13, and macOS 14, a number of folders have been identified as unsuitable for the Aquarius Desktop application stage area, Acqua Effect files, Nebula files, or plug-in files in any format.
After successfully installing Aquarius Desktop, we recommend checking the permissions status of the ADA (Aquarius Desktop application) Helper Tool. It should be installed correctly with the appropriate write permissions in your operating system settings. To verify this, go to the macOS System Preferences, select 'Security & Privacy', and navigate to the 'Privacy' tab. Check if the Aquarius Helper Tool has been granted full disk access permission.
