In light of the new security protocols imposed on macOS 10.14 and higher operating systems, including but not limited to macOS 10.15, macOS 11, macOS 12, macOS 13, and higher, several folders have been identified as unsuitable for the Aquarius Desktop application (ADA) stage area, Acqua Effect files, N4 files, or plug-in files in any format.
After successfully installing Aquarius Desktop, we recommend checking the Aquarius Desktop application (ADA) permissions status. To verify this, go to the macOS system preferences, select security & privacy, and navigate to the Files & Folders. Aquarius Desktop application (ADA) should be displayed as full disk access.
Then, go to full disk access on the security & privacy section and Ensure that Aquarius Desktop application (ADA) is marked as enabled.

- Desktop folder (any user).
- Bin folder (any user).
- Apple iCloud Drive (any user).
- Any 3rd party cloud storage providers (for example, Dropbox, Drive, Box, AWS, One Drive, etc.).
